Building Performance Topologies for Computational Grids

Abstract:
This paper describes the architecture and performance of a networkperformance topology system for Grid environments. Based on usagerequirements gleaned from real applications, we have implemented ahigh-performance service for delivery of this information called theNWS Topology Service. This implementation is compatible with extantGrid Information Services, and we describe the model for the objectsbeing delivered.
